The Global Elite division at Reed & Mackay is trusted to manage the travel and meeting & event needs of family offices, C-Suite and A-List talent from the world of fashion, sports and entertainment. We are looking for a Global Elite Advisor to join this new team who has experience of managing the needs of family offices/UHNWIs and understand their idiosyncrasies and appreciate the importance of attention to detail, creativity and quality of execution. Discretion and ensuring that Global Elite clients implicitly trust the team are vital.


Service expectation

  • To provide a dedicated 24/7 service to your own personal portfolio of UHNWI clients, tailored to their individual needs with a desire to always exceed expectations
  • Working flexible hours to ensure you are always available for your clients whilst they are travelling
  • Effectively manage your workload to meet all deadlines as required, either set by the client or within R&M
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and provide a consultative approach no matter the time of day
  • Advise proactively on all relevant immigration, passport and visa requirements along with any applicable travel restrictions
  • To be proficient in all R&M Technology, sharing knowledge with the client to ensure an all-encompassing service
  • To ensure all clients within your portfolio have comprehensive and detailed profile information enabling a personalised and tailored service to meet their exacting requirements
  • Recommend, source (and sometimes meet) preferred suppliers to build a database of trusted Reed & Mackay partners and ancillary products
  • Scope to travel and visit venues/ destinations if required by client

Operational expectation

  • Manage your own full client portfolio to the highest R&M standard, demonstrating extraordinary customer service
  • Pro-actively build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with both clients and suppliers
  • Exceed client’s expectation at all times
  • Support Global Elite Director with client onboarding meetings
  • Identify and implement opportunities to add value and create the Global Elite client experience to each booking
  • Ability to apply a variety of fare types and ticketing methods, whilst maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of industry innovations (e.g. airline direct connect)
  • Working with IFD (International Fares Desk) to proactively identify cross market and local inventory differences
  • Procure the best hotel rates for clients utilising GDS and non GDS channels, as well as leveraging
  • supplier relationships to deliver the Global Elite client experience
  • Monitor all bookings for further saving opportunities up until completion of the trip
  • To be proficient in all R&M Technology and to ensure knowledge is shared and maintained amongst the team
  • Demonstrate proactive and creative thinking when providing travel solutions
  • Support sales team attending prospect client meetings
  • Apply Quality Control procedures and processes in line with company and GRC requirements
  • Work closely with the Reed & Mackay out of hours team to ensure a seamless service for your clients, regardless of the time of day


  • Strong product and supplier knowledge with a clear understanding of how to deliver tailor made solutions using the right suppliers to underpin both value and service for our clients
  • Proven record of experience in a C-Suite/ VIP corporate and/or luxury bespoke leisure travel environment
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a pressurised environment without compromising the service to our clients or staff
  • Confident, vibrant and passionate about extraordinary service and solutions
  • Exceptional telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in other languages (at any level) desirable
  • Manage your own ticket issuance
  • Calculate your own reissues and changes in line with ticketing time limits
  • Ability to make effective use of resources available to complete tasks to agreed deadlines
  • Minimum qualification level to Fares & Ticketing VAII (formally BA2)
  • Fully conversant with one or all GDS systems; Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry and products in the market including different aircraft types and cabins
  • Knowledge of Low-Cost Carriers in the market and their different products available
  • Fully conversant with various rail booking systems
  • Experience in using MS software packages
  • Independently commit to attend and complete all relevant training
  • Driven to achieve individual and team-based business objectives
