ROLE SUMMARY:

Due to the continuing success of IFD function across the R&M brands, we will be setting up a new dedicated team whose focus will be to manage and maximise Trip Actions bookings made via the online APP. This is a great opportunity to work across the wider Trip Actions group and other brands within the wider group.

The main role of a Team Leader is to support the Global Head of IFD, overseeing a group of consultants within the IFD Team. Hours of Operation PST 09:00-17:30 / EST 12:00-20:30 / GMT 17:00-01:30 / UAE 21:00 – 05:30 / AU 2000 – 04:30.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day to day running of part of the Product Support team providing support for R&M proprietary technology and 3rd Party Self-booking tools including but not limited to Concur, Trainline and Evolvi.
  • Play a pivotal role in the development and success of the International Fares department
  • Monitoring staff performance, with a view to providing direction, training, coaching and motivation to deliver agreed targets
  • Provide on the job coaching and mentoring to the allocated team on a daily basis and liaise with your Head of IFD as appropriate
  • Ensure workload is balanced equally amongst team members and work in conjunction with your SVP of Operations to flex staff when required for the wider business • Create a harmonious and fair working environment • Encourage and reinforce team work ethic

  • Experience of working within an International Fares team
  • Knowledge of ARC and US Commissions advantageous
  • Advanced knowledge of multi market offerings and commercial levers on wider commercial contracts including use of net fare contracts, supplier commission contracts, tactical fares, inclusive fare types and consolidator contracts
  • Experience of working in native Sabre and Amadeus
  • Experience of ticketing and reissues in a GDS environment
  • Experience of Slack, Zoom and G-Suite
  • Experience of working with an Online Booking Tool
  • BA Fares and Ticketing Qualification or equivalent
  • High level of commercial acumen with the ability to make snap decisions under pressure
  • A robust analytical skill set, with a penchant for complex problem solving and thinking outside the box
  • A team player
  • An independent thinker with the proven ability to work on your own initiative without the need for significant supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach

INTERNAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for assisting with compliance to Reed & Mackay’s certification programmes and policies.
