We’re looking for a marketing professional who is passionate about the events arena and the value that face-to-face meetings bring to a business. Based in London, this individual will immerse themselves in the exciting and fast paced world of event management, leveraging stories to build out case studies, collateral, and sales enablement. You will own the marketing plan and will have a proven ability to combine strategic thinking with flawless execution.

The ideal candidate needs to be a passionate storyteller with strong PowerPoint and Intermediate Photoshop skills. This role would suit a dynamic individual who thrives in a high growth environment. You’re collaborative, flexible, open-minded and have a passion for the role that F2F meetings and events play in driving business value.


  • Drive the brand identity of Reed & Mackay’s Events Team building out Tone of Voice and visual identity supported by the Design and Comms functions
  • Own key marketing initiatives for the events department, including development of messaging, enablement assets, competitive analysis, and cross-functional and cross-regional launches
  • Lead continued efforts to deeply understand the profile of our current and prospective client base and the ways in which our services across group travel, event management, strategic meeting management and event technology can bring ease, efficiency, and the wow factor to their experience.
  • Build a “calendar” of marketing and social media activities to ensure timely promotion of services e.g., when to start looking for Christmas party venues
  • Build out our library of enablement assets, arming our sales and client success teams with tools that speed up sales cycles and secure retention rates
  • Ensure that our messaging and positioning is represented accurately across go-to-market activities, events, websites, sales decks, and all enablement
  • Partner closely with the events team, helping to bring their successes to life both internally and externally
  • Be a product expert for event management and advocate both internally and externally, developing a deep understanding of market needs and trends, and how we should position ourselves
  • Drive the content marketing strategy for the events department including articles, case studies, webinars and social posts
  • Provide intermediate design support to client proposals and presentations


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English. Wordmaster.
  • A strong eye for design with intermediate Photoshop skills to finesse client proposals, presentations and social graphics
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel. You can pivot tables with ease and transform an off-brand presentation into an En-Pointe, animated masterpiece.
  • Experience managing social channels – distribution, measurement, post writing, platform employee advocacy.
  • Experience writing and pitching press releases – a natural storyteller who can leverage data to build a standout pitch
  • Creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative ideas
  • Established ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to manage competing projects with tight deadlines effectively – owning every thread, taking accountability, and keeping key stakeholders updated
