You will bring energy, expertise, and creative flair, helping to achieve our ambitious objectives by driving the development of proactive PR campaigns. A natural storyteller, you will have experience building a compelling narrative and in effectively delivering brand messaging with proven engagement across external channels.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues from across the global marketing organisation to build campaigns that connect external stakeholders to the Reed & Mackay brand.

You will act as a trusted advisor to Reed & Mackay’s Global Leadership, deputising for the Global Brand and Communication Director as the crisis comms lead and an external spokesperson as required.

  • Own and drive the PR and Media Relations strategy shaping our story around key narratives and driving global campaigns.
  • Build and maintain effective journalist relationships with national business press as well as sector focused media.
  • Build and leverage relationships with external influencers to drive brand engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Reed & Mackay and Navan to develop compelling campaigns that reach a broad range of stakeholders, maximising PR opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with Reed & Mackay leadership across the globe, providing senior counsel and advice on external communications strategy and reputation management.
  • Craft and pitch press releases and identify speaking opportunities for Reed & Mackay’s leadership, preparing executives for media engagements.
  • Manage awards entries for Reed & Mackay, across corporate travel and event management.
  • Respond to requests for media enquiries.
  • Report on media coverage.
  • Support and deputise as required on Crisis Communications for the Global Brand and Communications Director.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you must be fluent in English, and French and/or German would be beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and ambitious for the team and the brand.
  • Thrives on a deadline, works well under pressure, and manages multiple tasks with ease.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and good at distilling complex messages into impactful soundbites.
  • Experience of working with and influencing senior executives / leadership, including on reputational issue.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • The intellectual rigour and creativity to make complex and sometimes technical subject matter compelling and newsworthy for press and other external stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of PR and media relations strategies, including social media.
  • A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently.
  • Significant experience of media relations and external corporate communications for large and complex organisations.
  • Experience in B2B communications required.
  • Executive coaching / Media training experience a plus
  • Corporate Travel / Travel technology experience essential.
