When a developing storm system was forecast to disrupt travel in northern Europe, our Incident Management team jumped into action to keep our travelers moving.

HIGH SPEED HAZARD

The winds were forecast to hit 75-90 kph, with hazardous conditions expected to spread debris, cause damage to infrastructure and result in potential power outages. It was imperative that we alerted our clients in good time to make alternate arrangements.

IN THE PATH OF THE STORM

One airport in the path of the storm was Amsterdam, which would have caused serious problems for our client, a leading law firm in the UK.

By working proactively to keep travelers informed and provide a plan B, we made sure the storm didn’t impact business.

INTELLIGENCE TO KEEP YOU MOVING

Reed & Mackay’s Incident Management Unit takes feeds from hundreds of sources including live feeds from air traffic control and alerts powered by leading risk intelligence company WorldAware.

WHAT THE CLIENT SAID – SECRETARY, LAW FIRM

“We are very grateful for the Reed & Mackay travel disruption notification received this morning, as it allowed one of our Partners to change his plans from flying today to Amsterdam to taking the Eurostar instead. Rozel was utterly brilliant!

I think the all around service we received from Reed & Mackay this morning shows why Reed & Mackay is a trusted and excellent Travel Management Company.”
